After you complete all the hundred-odd races that you can see at the start of the game, the game unlocks another hundred-odd races. Only these ones are ball-achingly hard. I’m no expert at racing games, and it really shows. I have a lot of difficulty in winning pretty much all of them. I’ve won two races on the expert circuit, after a good thirty attempts.
This game is hard

Ridge Racer PSP reached a point where all I had left to do were really difficult races. I threw up my hands (right after I set the PSP down gently on a nearby table) and moved on.
Comment by jvm February 7, 2007 @ 3:32 amI can imagine. I think Ridge 6 (and 7) and the PSP versions are fairly similar; the whole series seems to have become a monster stiched together of various similar parts of an assortment of consoles. The fact I can’t help but honestly think that the computer AI can charge nitrous quicker than a human is what’s really holding me back right now.
I’ll probably never complete it. And, well, that’s a big deal for me.
